While it was totally way more work than we had expected, the memories that were made and the information learned (by all of us) was beyond worth it. Seeing my two littles get so excited about what we were doing was priceless. They dug right in. Got messy. And grew in their skills and knowledge base. So much was practiced. Questions asked. Answers given. New things tried. And through it all the rhythm of our home, of our day, was a simple, peaceful one. As if this is what we do every September first. And perhaps it will be.
