A combination of Twitter and Chatroulette. That is how the Digital Media students at Hyper Island Stockholm descbribe their new site whydeo.com. Users can record any question they like through their webcam and a video respons to that question can be recorded by another user who believes that he/she has a fun, interesting or relevant answer.

Digital Media Student Elin Aram was interviewed on the project in the Swedish trade magazine Resumé. Read the article here (in Swedish)

The digital media class at Hyper Island Karlskrona has made a campaign for argentinian wine producer Finca Flichman's Gestos wine earning them 50 000 SEK. In 23 days they produced a micro site and and ad spot,. Watch the result here (in Swedish)

Yesterday, the girls and I, along with Mary and Molly, piled in to Mary's car (since we still have only one and Dave needed to use it) and headed to Connecticut to attend the Daffodil Festival in Meriden.  How it is that we had never been before is beyond me.  The town I grew up in was not far from Meriden, and they have been holding this festival for about as long as I have been alive, yet we knew nothing of it.  Crazy!  It was the perfect day for a road trip, and an even more perfect day for a parade and festival!

On Wednesday, the girls and I got all dressed up and headed to the Wayside Inn for the Doll and Teddy Bear Luncheon.  It was the second year that they have held this wonderful event, and we were thrilled to be able to be there again.

If our computer that had the pictures from last years luncheon was not dead at the moment, I would post some pictures of the day.  Sadly, much like Dave's car, that computer has gone to the great computer graveyard in the sky.
