Right now, I am:
::enjoying the beauty of the sunflowers, zinnias and gladilous that we picked at the farm today.
::in shock that it's August already. How is it possible that the year is flying by this quickly?
::happy that we got to spend another day at the beach.
::wishing that we lived right on the lake.
::looking forward to seeing what tomorrows CSA bag is brimming over with.
::contemplating how much longer it will be until we can start canning tomato sauce.
::wondering what David and I should do to celebrate our ninth wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks (and beginning to think about how to celebrate our tenth anniversary the following year).
::relieved that even though today did not start out so great we were able to get back into our usual rhythm and have the middle and end part of the day be wonderful!
::wishing you all a lovely night spent relaxing with those you love most after a busy day!

Right now, I am:
::listening to the birds singing joyfully as the girls play.
::enjoying these lazy summer days and seeing where each day takes us.
::grateful for good conversations (and yummy food) shared with dearest friends who just totally "get it".
::loving the little "village" that we have created with the people we call "our family of friends".

::hopeful that the material I ordered to make Grace's birthday crown arrives in time.
::finding it hard to believe that my sweet first born daughter turns five in nine days.
::reflecting on seeing the girls and two of their best friends playing like such big kids in our backyard yesterday. Time is just flying by too fast!
::realizing that a very special person is getting married in Vermont in a few months and that I still have yet to find dresses for the girls and I to wear to the wedding.
::excited that Dave is on vacation next week.

Right now, I am...
::grateful for kindred spirits and mamas (especially my own) who "get it".
::wishing that David was home tonight.
::in awe of the sheer fabulousness that is Grace and Emma. They are truly amazing and I am so honored to be their mama.
::loving Pandora and all the wonderful songs that we heard today, especially "Power of Two" by Indigo Girls, "Thank You" by Charlotte Kendrick and "One Voice" by The Wallin' Jennys. Those songs are like a balm for my soul!
::contemplating what fun things we should do to celebrate the upcoming summer solstice.
::listening to the quiet that only comes from two littles snuggled together and dreaming after a fun filled (albeit low key) day.
::excited that CSA season and berry season is upon us and that I will be able to put my brand new water bath canner to good use soon!
::content and happy with all of the rhythms of our day but most especially our evening rhythm. There is just something so sweet and so wonderful about that one.
::looking forward to seeing the beautiful birthday ring that my parents have been working on in preparation for Grace's birthday next month. Oh, how I wish we had started that tradition with birthday number one. Better late than never, I suppose!
::finding it hard to believe that Grace turns five next month. Where has the time gone?

Right now I am..
::still reveling in the beauty of the sunrise this morning.
::in awe of how different the girls are, but yet how similar they are too.
::enjoying the sounds of a quiet house after a busy day.
::happy to have been snuggled on the couch with my littles watching The Velveteen Rabbit before they went to bed tonight.
::loving how the girls adore sharing a bed and the sweetness of seeing them curled up together each night.
::missing David, and wishing that he was home tonight instead of working at the store.
::reflecting on how proud Grace was to plant her "seed children" in the garden yesterday and looking forward to it being warm enough so we really can plant!
::dreaming about the day we own a teeny tiny farm (in Vermont?!) and wishing that we could make that dream a reality sooner rather than later.
::excited to be surprising the girls with a trip to the princess tea at the Hawthorne Hotel on Saturday!
::wondering what other wonderful adventures we'll have this week.
::feeling blessed to live such an incredible life!

Right now I am..
::once again taking a cue from SouleMama.
::in awe of this incredible life we live and the ordinary miracles that are all around us.
::grateful that the girl's childhood is so magical and full of wonder and joy.
::excited that we have the the beginnings of our spring nature table!
::wondering what we will do to celebrate the arrival of spring next week.
::still impressed at how both girls were so into our rainbow project today. They easily worked on it for over two hours!
::thrilled at how beautiful today was and how much time we spent outside basking in it.
::pondering what adventures we will have tomorrow on what sounds to be another gorgeous day.
